The Ping G20 Irons  are engineered for extreme forgiveness and predictable distance control. The cavity’s floating CTP structure stabilizes the face and the aluminum badge with elastomer heel and toe sections produces a solid feel and sound. The CTP reinforces a 10% thinner face and controls distances while saving weight, which was added to the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head to increase the moment of inertia. Combined with the new CFS steel shaft (control, feel and stability), the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories. Consistent yardage gapping is a key benefit of the G20 set, which includes high-launching long irons that maximize the overall range and predictability of a player’s set.

The Ping G20 irons are very similar to the G15′s, with a slightly wider sole. The cavity of these irons features a very similar look to the G15′s but with a new soft layer on the back to help with sound, feel and vibrations. The steel shafts also look new, with more evenly spaced steps than the traditional AWT shafts, with a unique and interesting feel. Forgiveness and accuracy are achieved through extreme perimeter weighting in the 17-4 stainless steel head. A multi-material cavity badge made of soft elastomer improves feel and sound while enhancing distance control, allowing you to play your best golf. Consistent, precise distance control was achieved by using a thin face backed by a floating CTP structure. Weight in the back flange of the deeply cut, multi-cavity head increases the MOI. Combined with PING’s new CFS steel shaft, the G20 optimizes feel and trajectories.
